Christmas Eve morning was cooler than previous mornings had been, creeping into the mid-20s overnight and putting a frost all over everything in the elements. The forecast called for freezing fog, as well, which seemed like a good opportunity for photographs.
After my car warmed up and defrosted, it carried me about 30 minutes north of home to a repurposed clay pit up in Carroll County. It's a beautiful spot, made even more beautiful with the frost and a fog that rose rather awesomely as the sun reached and cleared the horizon.
