Man, it seems like it's been weeks since we've had a day without rain. After a big storm moved through last night, it was clear of moisture this morning, so I decided to get out and take part in some shutter button therapy! Even though the Weather Underground app said it was clear, there were still clouds everywhere, which got me a bit more excited - fear was that it would go from storming to completely clear. Lucky!
Just a bit north of home is an area I like to drive around because of the beautiful rolling hills, farm land and eventually the back side of Beech Lake. Essary Road is along that route and just a short ways down it was this neat fallen tree, full of texture and interest, and it was right along an old barbed wire fence. Awesome! With those clouds in the background, it was gold to me!
The clouds didn't last that long, but it was so good to actually get out with the camera and explore a bit. Hopeful there are more days like this one ahead!
Decided to process this image in Luminar 3.02 - it worked out great! So much so that I made a short video of the editing tools applied - see it below!
