Canon EOS Rebel XSi | Canon EFS 18-55mm f/3.5-5.6 IS | f/10 | ISO 100 | 1/50 | 33mm
One of these days, I will go back to Salt Lake City. I was still very much a newb to photography back 2010 and even though a couple of the images made there were pretty good (like this one) the potential here was so good for what I brought home. It was their first snow of the year and the mountains were stunning, and with that sunrise...ugh! Kills me to think about it!
However, for those folks who think their camera "doesn't take good pictures", this was taken with a Canon EOS Rebel XSi, a 12 megapixel camera released in 2009 with a maximum ISO of 1600 - and images taken at 1600 ISO looked terrible. I bought it in 2010 because it had been discontinued, replaced by the Rebel T1i, and I got a great deal - otherwise it would have been a Nikon D5000!
Don't let the camera hold you back people! Get out there and take those pics!
